- Kentucky has been put on hold this week by the House.
A proposed constitutional amendment for the state must wait for the House to pass a budget this week. The amendment would allow nine casinos in Kentucky.
Steve Beshear, governor of Kentucky, said more support for the amendment is needed to pass the House.
This slowdown will give the state more time to obtain support for the proposed amendment.
"We're still trying," said Beshear.
