Samantha Power, foreign policy adviser to Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, has resigned. Her resignation follows a statement published by The Scotsman, a British newspaper.
During an interview with the newspaper, Power said "She is a monster, too - that is off the record- she is stooping to anything." The presidential race has proven itself challenging, and both Clinton and Obama are trying to dot their I's and cross their T's in order to gain votes.
Obama must now regain the composure of his campaign in time for the primary in Wyoming this weekend. Power's statement could be enough to tip the vote in Clinton's favor this weekend, according to political analysts.
